Vice President/CFO Retired From TEC

Bob HealeaJackson, Miss. – Mr. Robert J. Healea, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, retired from TEC on December 31, 2014, after 20 years of service. 

Healea was employed by TEC as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 1, 1994. During his tenure with TEC, he was responsible for consolidated accounting and financial reporting as well as oversight for various telecommunications compliance, consolidated employee benefit programs, property insurance and other administrative functions.

Healea was born and raised in Longview, Washington and attended Washington State University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1964.  Following military service in the U. S. Army, he returned home and worked in various accounting functions at Weyerhaeuser until 1968, when he went to work for a public accounting firm and achieved his CPA certificate in1970.

Prior to joining TEC, Mr. Healea served for approximately 25 years as a founding partner in a public accounting firm which specialized in telecommunications accounting and auditing, which included TEC from 1982 through 1993.
