TEC and Mississippi College Ink Deal For Telecommunications Services

Jackson, Miss. – TEC has become the exclusive telecommunications provider for Mississippi College, handling all local and long distance telecommunications services for the main campus in Clinton and the Law School campus in downtown Jackson.  The conversion took place over the Spring Break holiday while students were away and offices were closed.

Bill Cranford, Chief Information Officer for Mississippi College, said “TEC was able to integrate our two campuses into a single system that meets all of our current technical needs.  The system will grow with us while reducing our overall communications expense.  They also offered the degree of local, hands-on customer service that we wanted.”

Joey Garner, Executive Vice President of TEC, added, “TEC is thankful for the opportunity to forge a relationship with Mississippi College and we are confident that we will meet all of their telecommunication needs.  This is a great opportunity to provide services to a long-standing, strong institution.  We share many of the same core values and we look forward to providing Mississippi College with the type of cutting-edge communications technology demanded on college campuses today.”
