Whole Home Wi-Fi is TEC’s mesh Wi-Fi solution that uses advanced Wi-Fi 6 technology to deliver seamless, high-performance internet coverage in every room. Designed for modern homes, it eliminates dead zones and gives you consistent speeds from your kitchen to your back porch.
Basic Wi-Fi extenders create a second network, often with slower speeds and signal drops between rooms. Whole Home Wi-Fi from TEC forms a unified mesh network which is a smarter, more reliable system that keeps you connected as you move throughout your home. No dropped connections, no switching networks.

Yes, for most customers, self-installation is quick and easy. Here’s what to expect:
New customers: If you choose Whole Home Wi-Fi during signup, your unit(s) will be included in your installation kit. Your technician will install your fiber service and set up Whole Home Wi-Fi during your scheduled installation.
Existing Customers: Self-installation is available in most cases. However, you may need an equipment upgrade to use Whole Home Wi-Fi. When you add the service, we’ll let you know if a technician visit or equipment swap is required for installation. Self-installation is simple: Just plug in the unit(s) following our Self Install Guide, and you’re good to go.
